About Real Vampire News
The main motivation for Real Vampire News is to provide news articles, short stories, explanations, and pretty much anything else pertaining to Real Vampirism. While it started out as the illegitimate brainchild of me, John Reason, it has become quite a bit more. Real vampires, donors, and just plain regular folks have come together to create something great – a place where people can come to learn about real vampire news, and other news of direct relation. People have helped out from all across the globe. I think that sometimes the fact gets forgotten that the internet has afforded us all great opportunities to get together and enjoy each other’s company. So let’s do just that; we’ll all get along, and read together.

“I have been floating around the community for about eight years now, but I really got involved a few years ago. I have a college degree and I like writing for and about the real vampire community whenever I get the chance. The reason I started Real Vampire News was to have a place where the real vampire community could come together to learn and interact with each other. My greatest dream for the site is to have vampires, donors, and those interested in the subject from all different walks of life involved in what goes on here at RVN. I live with my wife Courtney, cat Arf, Boa constrictor imperator Jasmine, and my wife’s two geckos Jim and Dagger in East Texas.”

“Tim has been involved with the communities both offline and online for more than 33 years. Originally, in the offline community in his hometown in the early eighties, he became deeply involved in the OVC from around 2000. He has been a member of many groups around the OVC and has drawn on his love of history and research to write many articles on the Vampire ways and culture. At times a controversial figure, he combines an open minded, though sometimes hard-nosed approach with a genuine desire to help newly arrived community members and promote the sharing and dissemination of knowledge.”

- Lady M
Lady M was born vampyre. Originally hailing from Chicago, over the course of her life, prior to the online communities, she studied everything available in the matter of vampyres and their ways. In 1999 she came to find the OVC and found that there were indeed others like her, others to share her information and learning with; others to learn from. She has a deep love of and intuitive feel for investigation and the truth. She puts these skills and attributes into the service of the community via RVN.

- Angel Night
Angelique (Angel) Night would describe herself an old soul with a young heart. She lives in Michigan with her Husband of 20 plus years and their beloved family pets.
Angel is a natural and trained Energy Worker. She has done Healing work for over twenty years.
Angel became aware of her energetic limitations and immune system issues very early on and struggled to understand them.
A fateful meeting with a Psychic Vampire group started her on her journey of self discovery regarding energy deficiencies and how it impacts health.
Angel has emerged from a five year journey during which, she began a blog on Wordpress in hopes of helping others with their own questions and thoughts regarding energy vampirism.
Angel has changed her health for the better and has accepted who she is and wants to help others do the same. She hopes to break free from negative stereotypes and labels and find common ground and understanding.
Angel is always learning and does not claim to know all the answers. She approaches life and experiences with an open mind and willingness to share and grow.

“Octarine Valur lives in South Africa and is a self-identified Vampyre. She has been involved in the OVC and fledgling SA VC for about three years now, and is the founder of House Valur and also a founding member of the South African Vampyre Alliance. Over time, she has contributed to several projects, including the Vampi(y)re Declaration of Community, the Totum Lex Vampyrica (TLV), and the Vampi(y)re Judicial Council (VJC). Dayside though, she keeps busy as a human rights advocate and author.”
