Our Aims and Goals

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our visitors to date for their support of our site and we wish to extend a warm welcome to all those still to come.
Real Vampire News (RVN) is a project aimed at spreading news and information about the real vampire communities to as many people as it can reach. It is envisioned that RVN will become, to all intents and purposes, a “newspaper” for those in, and outside, the community.
In order for this goal to be realized and for RVN to become known as a neutral and independent body it is in our best interests to maintain our site in the best possible manner.
Our team of writers work very hard with administration and owners to present their reports and editorials in the most acceptable and informative manner possible and this is an ideal that we wish to maintain in our approach to our work.
What RVN can not be ~
- RVN cannot become a “public forum” of debate. In the same way that no other “newspaper” is, so are we. We do welcome comments from our readers that are presented in such a manner that is consistent with informed opinion, rational in manner and presentation and to a large extent, non-inflammatory. Though we appreciate candid and honest expression RVN will not be party to fostering inappropriate dissension and argument.
- We will undertake to review all comments that are sent in but, as with any periodical, the final decision whether to admit comments to be posted or not rests with the administration of the site.
- We will not accept any comments that are vulgar, obscene, needlessly provocative, and derogatory or aimed at harassing any other person who has posted or commented here.
- We will remain neutral in position, of a high standard of presentation and non-discriminatory in our dealings within and outside the community.
